Name: Teddy
Species: American White Pelican Pelecanus erythrorhynchos
Life History: Teddy was transferred to us in 2025 from Wisconsin after being rescued by the Wildlife in Need Center. He was found after being shot with a pellet gun. This left him with a lasting wing injury that led to a deformity that prevents him from flying. Now, Teddy thrives in our Peli Pond and loves playing with everything from floating sticks to his boogie board.
