Found Baby Birds – What to Do

Posted by:

It’s Baby Bird Season Once Again

It’s Baby Bird Season once again, and if you find a baby bird, there are a few important things to know:

  • Not all baby birds need help; their parents may be nearby, watching as they learn their first steps and first flights.
  • Observe the situation, and review our easy-to-read guide, by clicking the image below.
  • It is a myth that mothers will reject their babies if humans handle them.
(Sometimes we may all need help finding our way home.)

If you’re in doubt or have questions, please CALL us so we can walk you through the situation. We may be able to avoid separating the babies from their homes.
